FAQs

Q: What happens in a Breath & Sound class?

A: Each class combines guided, calming conscious breathing techniques and calming ambient music to help you relax, reset your nervous system, and reconnect with your body.

Q: What type of breathwork do you teach?

A: At Breath & Sound, we focus on simple, accessible techniques that anyone can learn. The practices are gentle and restorative, designed to calm the nervous system, improve focus, and release tension.

We do not use intense or forced styles (like holotropic or rebirthing breathwork). Instead, sessions guide you into steady, conscious breathing patterns that are safe, grounding, and easy to integrate into everyday life.

Q: Do I need any experience to join?

A: No experience is necessary. All classes are beginner-friendly and guided step by step, so you can go at your own pace.

Q: What should I bring to a session?

Just comfortable clothing and a yoga mat if you have one. Feel free to bring an eye mask or small towel for a deeper sound experience.

How is this different from a regular yoga or meditation class?

A: Breath & Sound blends conscious breathing techniques with music, creating a multi-sensory experience that helps you feel calmer and more grounded.

Q: Can breath practices and ambient music help with stress or anxiety?

A: Yes. Many people find these practices help reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and improve emotional wellbeing.

Q: Where are the classes held?

A: Classes are held in Bondi Beach, Sydney. At Dharma Shala and Rare Studios. We also offer occasional online sessions so you can join from anywhere.
